From the Showcase teams, players will be selected to play in the Border Wars Games in Georgia on June 24,25,26. There will be an upcoming Sophomore / Junior Team and an upcoming Senior Team that will play against Georgia and Alabama. Last year there were over 120 college coaches and scouts in attendance. Players will be charged $100 to cover expenses if they are selected to play on this team.
2012
This was the first year of the Borders Wars Games played at Marietta High School in Georgia. We chose 18 players from the Showcase Classic to play in this game. The goal is to simply promote the game and help our players jump start the recruiting process. There were over 110 scouts and coaches attending the games, so our kids received great exposure. BORDER WARS GAMES: In addition to playing 3 games in front of college coaches and scouts at MTSU, a select team of players will be chosen from the Showcase teams to represent Tennessee in the Border Wars Games played in Georgia at the end of June. There will be two teams selected: a upcoming Sophomore/Junior team and a upcoming Senior team. The dates for the upcoming Senior team are June 25th and 26th. The Sophomore/Junior games are June 27th and 28th. Last year there were over 125 college coaches and professional scouts at these games. If you are selected for the Border Wars games there will be a cost of $100 to cover expenses
