Tony Vitello – University of Tennessee
Since taking over on Rocky Top, Vitello has led the Big Orange back to national prominence. He has led the program to 4 NCAA regionals, 3 super regionals and 2 College World Series in 2021 and 2023. He has also been a two-time National Coach of the year.
Dave Serrano – Johnson University
Coach Serrano”s resume includes head coaching jobs at Cerritos, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, University of Tennessee (2012-2017) and Cal State Northridge. He led UC Irvine to a College World Series appearance in 2007, earning Baseball America’s National Coach of the Year.
Matt Riser- University of Memphis
Coach Riser comes to the Tigers after 10 seasons as head coach at Southeastern Louisiana, where he helped guide the Lions to four NCAA Tournament berths and three Southland Conference titles. With 320 wins with the Lions and back-to-back 40-win seasons, Riser finished second in program history in all time wins.
Ford Pemberton – University of Memphis
Coach Pemberton comes to Memphis after spending the last two seasons in the same role under Riser at Southeastern Louisiana. Pemberton helped the Lions’ 2022 offense to program top-10 totals in doubles, triples, and home runs in his first season.
Skyler Barnett – Milligan University
Skyler Barnett enters his fifth year as the head coach of the Milligan baseball program. With Barnett at the helm, Milligan has posted four consecutive winning seasons, the longest such streak for Milligan baseball since 1991. In 2022, Milligan won 36 games, the second-highest single season win total in program history.
Scott Brown – Vanderbilt University
The 2023 season was Coach Brown’s 11th as the pitching coach and seventh as associate head coach at Vanderbilt. He has helped the Commodores go 430-183-1 and strike out a nation- high 5,963 batters during his eight seasons. During his tenure, 35 Commodore pitchers have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 12 in the first three rounds.
Jason Stein – Belmont University
Coach Stein brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to Belmont, having spent over two decades in the college game. In all, Stein has recruited and coached 45 Major League Baseball draft picks – including 12 former Bruins.
Brad Essary – Turface Athletics
Brad is in his 27th year in the sports field industry. He spent 18 years with Southern Athletic Fields and the past 5 years as a Regional Sales Manager for Turface Athletics covering 11 states in the Midwest. Brad has worked on the TSSAA Spring Fling grounds crew over 18 years, SEC grounds crew over 15 years as well as consulting with Major League groundskeepers across the Midwest.
Mike Corn – Walters State CC
Mike came to Walters State from Columbia State where he had been the head coach for the past 13 years. He is the Senators Recruiting Coordinator and infield coach.
Jason Maxwell – Ensworth School
Coach Maxwell has been the Head Coach at Ensworth since its founding in 2004. In addition to coaching at Ensworth, Coach Maxwell has served on the TBCA and the American Baseball Coaches Association Diversity in Baseball Committee.
Rob Stacy – Clinton High School
Head Baseball Coach and Co-Athletic Director at Clinton High School. Rob is a competitive CrossFit Athlete and has finished in the top 10% in the CrossFit Open 4 years in a row.
Tommy Pharr – Christian Academy Knoxville
Tommy has been coaching for 39 years, 31 as a head coach. He has won over 900 games and multi state championships. He coached Spencer Strider at CAK.
